This special machine is designed for the assembling of cooling units.
The tubes and copper plates of which the cooling units are made are placed in front of the assembly machine and led into the machine by means of a feeding conveyor. The conveyor feeds work pieces from two side - this way it is possible to prepare the next assembling process while the machine is working.
A vacuum head lifts off the first layer of copper plates and takes them over the tubes. The vaccum head positions the copper plates on the tip of the tubes and a hydraulic piston pushed the plates over the tubes to the specific positions that are entered into the program.
The process continues until the tubes are filled with copper plates - maintaining a preset spacing between the plates. After this, the assembled cooling units are conveyed to the other side of the machine - and the machine is ready to run the next process.
