Carton assembly machine
This special machine is designed to glue and fold cartons.
The carton assembly machine is fed with unfolded cartons on which are placed the product around which the carton is to be folded. By means of rollers and a straightening unit the item is correctly positioned on the assembly machine after which toothed belts lead the item to the glue unit applying glue on three sides. Suction cups fixe the item and pneumatic-controlled arms fold the carton around the item in a predefined sequence. Subsequently the item is transported to the following packing plant.
The whole process runs fully automatically.
This carton assembly machine is equipped with an adjustable length setting so that carton of different lengths can be glued and folded.
