This saw is specially designed for a subcontractor working for the wind power industry. The multisaw is sawing grooves and drilling holes in wood and synthetic boards in one single process.
An automatic cycle leads the board through the multisaw; a feeding bar pushes the board through 2x29 saw blades. The bar stops at certain intervals and 15 drilling motors carry out a precise drilling of holes in the board. The process is PLC-controlled and before process start only the board length and the desired spacing between the holes are to be entered to optimize the process.
